Esta mañana el Uní Uní hará un ensayo con un club capitalino de la serie C del fútbol criollo.
En medio del trabajo de post temporada que se prolongará hasta los primeros días del mes de diciembre, Unión San Felipe sostendrá esta mañana un partido amistoso frente a Recoleta, club de la Segunda División chilena.
Este extenso periodo de trabajo ha servido para que en la interna del plantel albirrojo se realice una fuerte autocrítica por la mala campaña cumplida en el Transición, torneo en el cual el Uní Uní corrió por momentos serios riesgos de perder la categoría.
Gonzalo Villegas, gracias a su regularidad y buen desempeño, fue el jugador que más minutos tuvo durante el torneo, y es por eso que era interesante conocer su análisis. “Se trabaja más tranquilo, aunque la verdad nunca había vivido una situación como esta en la cual después de haber terminado una temporada, hubiera que seguir entrenando y eso se debe a la mala calendarización del fútbol chileno, aunque a uno le gusta esto (entrenar) así que no hay problema con tener que venir”, explicó el defensor en relación al hecho de tener que seguir practicando cuando el certamen ya llegó a su fin.
Villegas deja en claro que a pesar que el trabajo lo realizan con la mejor predisposición, igual complica el hecho de no tener partidos oficiales en el horizonte. “A uno lo que le gusta es jugar y claramente el no hacerlo te saca presión, pero también hay que saber aprovechar esto ya que permite mostrarse, entonces no hay que relajarse”, afirmó.
Respecto a la performance en el Transición, el polifuncional defensor tiene las cosas muy claras. “Todo pasó por la mala campaña que hicimos en casa donde apenas tuvimos una victoria, eso fue fundamental para que no hubiésemos estado arriba en la pelea por cosas grandes. La falta de gol nos terminó penando”, explicó.

No descarta partir a Primera A
A principios de este semestre corrió con fuerza el rumor que Gonzalo Villegas podría partir a la serie de oro del fútbol chileno, situación que se está produciendo nuevamente. “Me han dicho que es muy probable que no siga en el club porque habría alguna oferta; pero la verdad no quiero ilusionarme, así que prefiero esperar lo que venga y que eso sea lo mejor para mí y el club; pero debo reconocer que me gustaría mucho que se concretara, ya que estoy en la edad (25) ideal para asumir ese desafío”, reconoció.
